HOUSE FOR A YOUNG FAMILY ON THE HILL

Skewering a steep southern hillside, the house offers a view on the Ljubljana Marsh. The terrain required designing of two external platforms. The lower one consists of a driveway and the main entrance into the house.
The upper one creates a private space around the house and connects with the living zones through large glass surfaces.
When designing the interior, the architects pursued the goal of creating a space that would feel trendy, fresh, playful and elegant and minimalistic at the same time. (Photo: Miran Kambič)

The COMFORT PASSIVE wood-aluminium window opens a new chapter in the design of wood-aluminium windows and follows contemporary trends of minimalism. The wooden frame is complemented by an external aluminium frame which contributes to longer lifespan of the window and offers new possibilities of colour combinations.
