Of course, there are cracks and “memories” left by wood insects present on the boards, but this is what gives the old wood and the final product – ReWin window – a special outlook and soul.

After sorting of wood and finding that 60 % of it is useful, we stepped into next stage – cutting of beams and other parts of the hayrack into wooden boards. After the cutting, it is noticeable that quality of wood is still good after more than 100 years, since the hayrack was built in 1868, which we will write about in a separate article.
